Im headed out to the woods again this weekend, weather pending, who wants to see a Swamp Rat Ratweiller tested out? similar tasks to what Ive done for the Tracker knife....and anything suggested by you guys.

Let me know!

Do some baton work I always like seeing that. Some bark stripping, drilling, I am sure there are some other things that people are going to request.

i have a tracker which im reviewing also this weekend if everything goes ok, I do not have a beck at this time. will try to get pics and stuff up as I do them Saturday. will note all suggestions for reference. thanks all!

I'd particularly like to know what you think of the Ratweiler's "trigger" style guard, doing extended work choked up on the blade with index finger in the choil.

So far I dig it, (the guard) I have only used it for food prep, but the choil doesnt aggravate. When I do outside stuff i gererally wear gloves so i doubt it will aggravate at all.

You have Black Bear in your area, don't you? :D Get the loin cloth out!

If you want a more reasonable suggestion, Do what I have a bad habit of doing with my Becker. Stick it in a piece of wood and leave it out all night. :o Let us know if any rust develops on the edge or blade where the coating is worn off.
