Has anyone ever heard of, anywhere, on any planet, in any universe, in any summer blockbuster, of a knifemaker named Mr. May Hall? The person I bought
this knife from says he was well-known in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama, and is now deceased. Any information would be helpful.

Welcome to Bladeforums.

I never heard of him, but if he was well known? I'm sure someone here can help you. There is a LOT of great knife folks here.

Good luck.

Thanks, Mr. Davison. That was my first post anywhere on the Internet, but I have been reading BladeForums for a while, and I see a lot of warmth and true kindness and good feelings among posters. Much generosity.

Welcome ibyx01.

I checked a variety of Knives Annuals from 2006 down to 1983 in five year spreads. Nothing.

Someone else may know.

Thanks for asking. You never know. Welcome!

Are you talking about A.M. Mayhall? I think he made mainly folders. You see one pop up every once in a long while. I think Smoky Mountain Knife Works had 1 or 2 for sale on Ebay within the last year.
