I get a kick out of (I guess his name is Chris Kirk)

That ol "Boys n Ladygirls" lays me low every time. He's such a ham that I find myself watching the dern thing like a "show."

........an it ain't $300 my friends, nawsirree....fer THREE MINNITS ONLY....it's not $69.95....no buddy....it's $27.85 and like buyin hunnerd doller bills fer a dime.......

I'd check it out if it was available in my area. I've gotten several great deals on quality knives at SMKW.

I watch it twice a week! It comes on Dish Network channel 221 at 7 pm Central on Mondays and Fridays. Chris Kirk hosts the show, which mainly sells slipjoint folders, but occasionally there's a tactical or fixed blade thrown in. He sells mainly Case, Remington, Winchester, Schatt & Morgan, Henckels, etc.

Great show just for the entertainment value of the host!

It's a real kick to watch, if you can stand the redneck talk (I grew up in the Western NC mountains and nobody talked as backwoods as this guy - he's putting on a show...). As stated above, channel 221 on Dish Network (5-8pm Pacific Monday and Friday).

You have to laugh at the way he tries to sell every single knife as something that will exponentially increase in value, and how they're practically giving them away.

The actual TV production itself is completely low-tech, something you might have seen on a shopping network 15 years ago, but it is entertaining.

I haven't ordered anything (yet), but they typically stay away from the utter junk sold by the "other" shopping network (in the Frost Cutlery segments...), and they do show some quality brand-name slipjoints.

So who is Chris Kirk? I did a search on the internet and didn't find anything knifewise before this show. (I did find out he has a sister and plays the guitar.)

He's outrageous in his claims about most of the product's worth (for instance he might sell a Queen slip for $59.95 but claim it could be worth $300 as a collector piece  ) There are some good quality knives presented (Queen, Boker, Buck, Schatt&Morgan, etc.).

There is some lower end stuff, but nothing like those cheesy "tactical" folders and fantasy swords like HSN.

Chris Kirk is a hoot!!
I try to watch him as often as I can which is usally on Friday evenings, and sometimes on Monday. I think he is funny, and at least he does not sell those flea market knives except for the once in awhile S & W tacticals. He does also sell CRK&T, Spyderco and Buck knives. Sells mainly slipjoint collectibles which I agree are not worth what he claims.
Tonight he blew me away as he actually had CJ Buck on the show who was promting his 150 limited edition Buck 110 which had his pic on the knife in a small badge on the handle, and he was engraving his signature on the blade at the show. I actually called, and ordered one for my Buck collection(for $36.99) which is the first time I ever ordered a knife off the show.
Really is a pretty good show, and Chris Kirk's humor, and redneck personality is entertaining. My wife and I enjoy it for something different to watch, and have to admit we both learn quite a bit about slipjoint knives which is quite different from the knives I usually collect which are tacticals, and customs. We have followed him around the different channels for years as he has been on TV for about 15 years selling the same type of knives, and he is quite knowlegible on slipjoints, and good at explaning the different styles as well as brands, and their history.
Just my .02 cents rounded off to a buck :)

Never seen it!

OOOOWWWEEEEEEE knife collectors next up we got this CUSTOM BoooooWWeeeeee that any man would love. I mean just look at this CUSTOM piece, and look how the blade shines, and this knife is really balanced. This is not your average piece guys. A knife like this will bring $400 to $500 easy, but if you call in the next ten minutes, you will get it for $39.99.....thats right folks....$39.99. We will include a custom leather sheath.

Ok, maybe I have watched it just for a little while.:p
