What????? I bid on it and it might not have been hardened????? I also stated I wanted it refinished to one I could look at, that gold or whatever it is was really bad!!!

I think it's a cool blade. It has meaning. I didn't bid because I wasn't home to bid. I wouldn't have anyway since I wasn't at Blade this year. I wouldn't feel right since I couldn't make it. Let someone else have it that it might have more meaning for.
 
Since I was one of those double inductees, I really wanted that blade. But at this time I just couldn't make a worthy bid on it. Congrads to whoever the lucky winner is!!

Maybe some day I'll be allowed to grasp it again:D

HMMMMMM, not sure how to take that comment, either it is heat treated and I don't have to worry or I was outbid and it doesn't matter!

Clear as pigs nose.

edited to say that Jerry himself stated that it was HT'd. However, this was after the 2 bottles of scotch we had and only after he stopped flicking the new folder open and closed in the bar.
