This Duke has a year mark for 1995 but isn't in the catalog. Were they a special project for someone like Cabelas, Bass Pro, etc.?

Well, ITE, no time delay for Dave.

The knife is one of the Limited Edition Scrimshaw Collectibles
it is one of three modles of the American Waterfowls released in October 1997.
The shown knife shows the Mallards, the two others of the series the loon and the wood ducks.
Dealers price: 80 USD. 10% Discount if the dealer ordered all three. 2000 of each were made.
It is no special production for Cabelas, Bass Pro or Herbertz.

There was a second series with four birds of prey, and I passed an Auction with a scrimshawed wolf.

On the picture is missing the loon. If somebody has one of them for sale ...

Best,
Haebbie

Thanks Herbert. The same person I got this from had a couple of others plus a four knife set in a wooden, glass top display case. I'm sorry now that I didn't take a shot at it. Thanks for showing yours!

Beautiful Herbert, but it's making me sick now that I didn't go for the four knife "Birds of Prey" set when I had the chance.:(

I'm glade you did. That one would have cost me a lot more if you had kept bidding...LOL. It will go to my daughter for Xmas;).
