Who Will Carry The New Surefire Folder?

Given Surefire's retail policy, I suspect most vendors will sell at MSRP, just like they do with the lights. Might find one on ebay or the secondary market for less than MSRP.

We talking about that EW-04?
Am I seeing that right? one of the facets of that hex wrench is on the liner lock? How well would that hold up I wonder?

intersting looking and it has a good blade, but it doesn't look like something I would carry; Not even for half that price.

holy cow, 400$?? I don't really know much about flashlights, is surefire the CRK of flashlights? does anyone have any info on this folder?

That knife is so gimmicky , not worth a penny over $150 because of materials used , otherwise......

Tostig

I like the look of their new "Edge" knife, but I'm finding conflicting specs. Is it a liner or frame lock? I can't find any of my usual retailers selling it, either. It looks like a beefed-up Boker Trance, which is my favorite folder. Anyone handle one yet?

has anyone used one of these surefire knives? i'm sure they're a great brand for lights, i just can't imagine why they're worth so much, spyderco is able to use titanium and s30 for pretty cheap. i'm guessing surefire is all american made though. just from looking at the designs, the knives don't look like theyd be worth more than 40$. is the fit and finish in the same class as CRK?

I found this pic on Surefire's website of the Edge. Msrp $199. It is a Titanium linerlock with 154cm blade steel.

oh I was looking at the EW-04 when I made my earier comment. I actually like the Edge a lot better. I still can't believe the EW-04 is 400$ when that knife is only 200$.

Got a email on that one the other day, I'm sure its built well but it sure is fugly.

Ugly designs, too gimmicky for me. Certainly not worth the price tags; much better tools for your money. They should stick to flashlights.

Looks way overprised, there are so many other great knives that are way better than the surfire you could buy for that price.

Well I'm sure going to buy one, and ill post a review when I get it. Sure its a bit overpriced, but I love the blade design, the gimmicks.

Cool design. You guys think it could end up being collectable?

For my money I'd prefer some other knives. Maybe pay a bit
more for a used Sebenza. The Ti Mili that's suppose to come
out appeals more to me just cause I'm a Spyderco fan.

I doubt it would become collectable, but you never know. I wouldnt buy one for 80 bucks personally lol

If it would've been like this, maybe I would be interested, but the price is still a bit high.
Looks somewhat like Yuna.
