Who would buy a Mnandi without inlays?

Hi all, long time lurker here... I have a small CF Insingo and I love it. The time has come for a second CRK and I'm about to close the deal on a large Insingo with inlays of some sort. However, while I have been obsessing about my next purchase one idea keeps popping up:

If CRK would make a Mnandi with solid TI slabs I would buy one in a heartbeat. Imagine if you will...Mnandis with unique graphics. Mnandis with anodizing. Mnandis with cutouts to reduce weight. Sexy no?

The Mnandi inlays are nice, but they just don't do it for me. Perhaps if a carbon fiber inlay were available I'd change my mind. The reveal around the edges isn't consistent...and to me it looks like they don't fit correctly. I'm sure they are as awesome as any other CRK and I'm not bashing. The idea of a super-slim Mnandi with a clip to hide in my pocket makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And while we are at it, where is the Mnandi Insingo? I'm getting too excited here. Would anyone else be willing to part with their hard-earned cash for some Mnandi options?
 
I have thought the same thing iv got a Mnandi with cocobolo inlays but I'd kill for some carbon fiber. Haze has a titanium inlaid one he made I'm pretty sure.

Be warned, it's awesome and you're going to want one, which sucks because that's the only one :(


I'd buy an all Ti Mnandi or a Mnandi with graphics in a minute. I'm not a huge fan of the purple and similar colors that Ti always seems to be anodized to but if they made one with a bronzed anodizing with bronze hardware and a Spirograph or Ladder Damascus blade I'd be all over it.
 
I used to frequent the CRK sub forum a while back and this topic has come up a few times. I'd love to see a full Ti Mnandi or even one with a micarta inlay. If I remember correctly the idea was brought up to Mr Reeves and he said its not likely to ever happen.

As for an Insingo Mnandi, I don't think it makes too much sense. The Mnandi isn't just a smaller Sebenza, I don't think it would really work with the Insingo blade. Now, if they brought back the Umfaan and offered it in Regular and Insingo, I'd get one of each.
 
Agreed Captain Dune...I would purchase an Umfaan. Can't find one for $500 that hasn't been molested though.
 
Carbon fiber inlay on an Mnandi would be awesome.
 
I happen to love the Mnandi as it is especially the bark ivory models. Have one small sebenza with raindrop blade and don't care for it at all, don't like one-sided knives and think all metal knives are crude tools which I guess there is a place for it's just that I have never needed such a knife in my 70 years on this planet............diff stokes for diff folks

What's a one-sided knife?

And, all metal knives are crude tools, or all-metal knives are crude tools?
 
I'd buy two right off the bat without hesitation. And have a custom wharncliffe blade made for one.
