The Caly 3 ZDP is already pretty close to that description. It's a great value. The factory grind is acute but you can thin the edge even more if you want without too much hassle (with a diamond stone).
I've been wishing for a thinner blade on the Stretch for quite a while. Personally I'd prefer a regular full flat grind that was thin behind the edge over the zero edge convex which seems to defeat the purpose of a thin blade. VG-10 would also be fine by me. It's a known quantity, and has a proven track record in thin blades. On the other hand, I'm not sure, and have serious reservations about, how well a really thin ZDP-189 blade would hold up under what I'd consider reasonable use. As for clips, I don't give a rat's ass about them, so changing the entire design to accommodate a different one seems like a waste to me. But none of that would stop me from buying one.

I am looking for a smaller Caly 3, hopefully with a handle sized like the Rookie and a 2.75" blade. I know a smaller one is in the works, but that is all.
Personally, I'd be fine with G10 and VG-10, but I'd get one in carbon fiber and another good steel.
I am pretty much happy with VG10 Caly3 as is, will be even more happier when add Caly3.5. I like an idea of micarta/wood/bone on Caly3. Do not care about DP or ZDP.
I've never tried the stock Caly3, but I loved the Stretch's blade shape. I liked the feel of the Caly 3 but never cut with it.
I wouldn't mind VG10 either, but I remember hearing that ZDP can take a seriously thin edge. I believe Spoonrobot's Stretch (that he posted in the 8-month review thread) had a 15 deg inclusive edge.
My main concern is simply a thinner blade. The rest of the features are really icing on the cake. (I wouldn't mind a bone handle either if it looked like the Kiwi's. )
