I am not sure of the term, replica, faux, or inspired. But as I can't swing a "6", I would like to have a "7" to "6" Conversion.

I think that there is a gentleman's agreement with the pimper community that no more po'boy sixes will be made. You will have to find one that's already been done up for sale.

Correct, Mr. E has politely asked that no more "PoBoy" sixes be made. The Man has earned respect, and respect shall be honored in the community of Emerson.

There are Po'boy sixes floating around that were made before Ernies request to stop making them. If you keep a look out you can find one for between $300-$400. Please honor Ernies request to not make a Po'boy 6

Yeah, none to be made from this point on as stated by OM. Like Silvanus said, they are out therein the RH style. My guess is that you (Akapennypincher) want a 7 in a left hand configuration to be sent in and converted. I'm still not sure what all the fuss is about other than the history.

i just think its stupid. ive had 2 poboy sixes offered to me and one seller wanted 900 and the other wanted 1000.

It is Mr. E's most coveted design, one that has been reserved for only full Custom build. I see nothing wrong with honoring Mr. E's wishes.

Also a lot of people were sold a poboy as a real 6 and didn't know the difference until they brought it in for service. EKI's policy is to not even touch a modified knife.

Well as I have beren a Lefty over 67 years, I see not reason to try and change. About the only thing I do right handed well is shoot a rifle or shot gun very well.

Everythiong else is Left Handed, and I saw a Left Six that was factory made, and believe it was one or only a few made. So I got to thinking again.

Now I know of the gentlemans agreement so that line of thought is a moot point.

How about a 7 Kwaiken by Nathawut? He can make it a lefty. Like an A-100 Tanto.

While the comments are great, the knife isn't mine. I wish! :D I do have a couple of things coming from him though, should be here next week.
This started out as a very well used 7BT, coating was scratched and gouged in many places, so Nath did a regrind and completely re-did the rest. He may have had to tweak the stop-pin choil, but if he made a completely new handle, he could have tuned everything to the blade.

I hope he or the owner doesn't mind me posting the pics, it's so amazing I had to share it.

Yeah Nath's Kwaiken-7 is sick, I'm in talks right now about sending him a 7v to do roughly the same to.
