I seem to recall a past thread with someone wrapping their becker with Para-cord. Cant' seem to find that thread. I just tried that myself, but didn't like how it felt. Felt slippery, and the metal dug into my hand.

I believe the post was on the BK-7...I paracorded my BK-7 and it turned out great, but as you said it is a little slippery, and the edges of the handle are prominent. Was considering grinding off the edges but that would make it unattractive to put the original handle back on...was also considering a double wrap, or incorporating some Rayskin in it somehow.

Anyone try contact cement? :p

Paracord is slippery. It is necessary to aply a thin layer of epoxy, I use something called Mod Podge from a craft store. With Mod Podge you can still remove the wrap should you one day you decide to reinstall the scales - not sure if this is possible with the epoxy.
