But I happen to have two well-versed khuk fans and forumites right in my backyard (okay not technically in my backyard, but you get the point). I'm glad there are some locals who can teach me a thing or two about khuks and inable my new found addiction. I had a pleasant conversation with Terry from the Sarki Shop and e-mail from Yvsa. Can't wait to meet you guys in person. I'm gonna be meeting Terry to cover my scabbard and sharpen my BAS. It's a big, but small world.

Welcome to the forum. Uncle's a hundred or so miles from you for the next few days, but he'll be back.

In the meantime, there's more than just Terry and Yvsa down your way. But they may be hiding off net while their wives cool off from their last khukuri purchase, though.

My verses may be off-key,:D
but I'm in the neighborhood too.
Welcome.

I'm too far south for being in most any bodies back yard who lives in OK. But I'll sure welcome you to the cantina. Hope you like it here.:) :)

Welcome, CD. You're going to LOVE Terry's work. He made a sheath for my UBE that is fantastic.

Cavedweller,
Stop by any time. Just call first to make sure we're gonna be home.
God Bless.
Terry

Hi, my name is Ben and I'm a non-recovering HIKV'er. Repeat this phrase everyday, Cavedweller. It is the beginning of the 12 khuk program. Seems that when you reach 12 you have to start over again. Vicious, vicious cycle. :D

Welcome to the cantina. Side note: I would have loved to have heard Rod Serling utter that phrase.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I can't wait to get another khuk, I haven't had my BAS a week and I'm already gettin' withdrawals:D . I'd really like to have one of Yvsa Cherokee Specials but can't find a price or if they are even available. Sorry I left you out DDean, guess we got quite a khuk following right here in Green Country. Bill is gonna be sorry he ever sold me a khuk, his wallet will be happy though!!:)

Repeat customers used to be 80% of his business. Don't know about now, I can't remember all the new people since the first of the year, til you make several posts. True, that's good for Uncle Bill, but I think we both miss being able to recall those who haven't posted lately like Shirley, and of course munk, may his modem be fixed. Bill L. was good to hear from too.

I told Yvsa I'd come show him a couple of my recent goodies,
but time slips away from me. (soon though)

Maybe we can have a Tulsa gathering sometime.
