looky here now. I'm an ld retarded Marine an supposed to have some kind of good sense. Historiclly no not goo off half cocked about much of anything. Here lately I have had some strange feelings that are not easy to explain. Some of you fellar that are writers could most likely put things on paper better. However, I don't have any help here.

I find that These funny looking Knives ( too a lot of people)seem to have drawn me like magnet. Has anyopne else had that feeling? I ordered a 15" AK and then a PGA came along for the BAS threw a mistake that hurt no one they arrived at the same time.

I have fallen in love again, with the bent knives.

Now Pappy I'm quite a bit younger than you, and I don't make a point of giving advice to my elders, but you are in grave danger of losing your khuks to the dark side.:eek: Tsimi (aka "the duck")loves to swoop in on new khuk owners at right about this stage of HIKV and convince them to "donate" a khuk or 3 to his bogus "fellowship". Be warned!! There is no Research, only the disease, the medicine (MORE KHUKS!)and the support group--HI forum;):D

We call this ailment HIKV...Himalayan Imports Khukuri Virus. We know exactly what you are speaking of.

Just wait till they start talking to you.:D

Pappy we've all had these feelings, you have contracted the deadly HIKV.
Having 2 khukuris arrive at the same time is most certainly a clincher.
But don't worry about it too much as you're in very good company.:)

At least you didn't fall under the spell of Tsimi and into the Darkness of the Cave and become a so called "researcher.";)

You will notice, in a short while, that the Khuk you have in your hand is your favorite. For a day or two. And then it will be the other one. As you gain more, this will continue until one of us Khuks posts a "what is your favorite" question, and your nervous system will overload. This is why my coffee consumption has gone from one cup in the morning to a pot every other hour.
Don't worry about Tsimi - his "research" is a cover for one of the worst cases of HIKV. It also saves a lot of money :D We should hear from Tsimi over the weekend - he should just about now be figuring out how to get on the forum on his new 'pooter. He will be with us night and day from now on HEE!
 
I think he needed a bigger, faster computer for his research.

You're not alone by any means, Pappy.
 
We know the feeling all too well, pappy.

For the first time in a long while, I am regretting that there is nothing in my back yard that needs chopping. So I jus sit here foldling my sirupati as I read or surf the internet...

I bought two before the first one was ever delivered. So I know of what you speak. My favorite is my 18" AK. It's a monster knife!
But then, I like my 15" version too. ;) Then there's my 20" Kobra.....

Uncle once said a Marine named Ray had 44 of the HI khuks. Now there's a real case of HIKV! :)
 
My first three HI khuks were purchased in less than five weeks! (the past five weeks):D
 
My first three were inside a week. Phoned Uncle on a Monday. Got the first khuk Tuesday. Phoned him Wednesday and ordered 2 more which came in Thursday.
