On Saturday morning about 6:55 am there was a whole lot of shaking going on in Camillus New York and at the cutlery. As a matter of fact
the shaking regeristed 5.1 on the Ricter scale. Yes Upstate New York was hit by a earthquake. The local newspaper stated that the last time
a 5+ quake hit Upstate was 1983.(before my time up here).
What a trip !
Even though it only lasted about 20 seconds it seemed a lot longer when your living through it.
California has nothing on us.

It wasn't an earthquake. No, it wasn't. It was the folks at Camillus testing their brand new blanking machine :D

So that's what that is...could it be that they've found a way to blank out 7" mega Maxx blades? :D

Jocko,

I grew up in Fayetteville (a suburb of Syracuse as is Camillus for those others reading) and recall being taught in school where the local fault lines were. I was in the Navy in '83 and here in South Dakota during the latest episode, so I've missed the home action. That's okay though... I was in northern California's bay area when the Loma Preita (SIC?) quake hit during the World Series. You can keep quakes..... they 're no fun at all!

Ahhhh...... So it was the new Camillus blanking machine that rumbled things all to heck, and knocked over my wife's favorite lamp. I'll be sending the bill to Camillus. ;)

Forget sending a bill. Just ask Will to send you a free CUDA Maxx and it'll be all even :D

Good idea, Dex!!! It's not like the wife would ever find out where the Maxx came from. I'll just get her a new stupid lamp and cut the box open with my new Maxx. :D
