i bought 5 for christmas cracker gifts last year.
its a handy little thing.lives in my bumbag.
not sure about "airline safe" airlines maybe but not airports i would imagine.

i dont see why it wouldnt be tsa approved... then again, it all depends on the tsa agent. they are cheap so if you have to dump them before flying you could always buy another.

I would look at the Schrade Titanium Pry Tool, about $20 and I think it's a better tool.

I might go with the Schrade.. Is that cutter good enough for seat belts? Another consideration is that it looks pretty large in this photo..
