Dont know what this w/e will hold but it will involve doing something :). Been bored to death all week. Cant wait to get out in the shop and do something....anything.

Still working on a hawk for and order.
Might start something new just to keep the juices flowin.

Hope ya'll have a good w/e.

I've got another horseshow sunday morning. Hopin I win again. Then I'll probably clean the stalls and see if I can break the trailer I fixed last weekend. Other than that, probably just knives. I've got about 4 folders I want to start, so I'll probably use up the last 50 cummins hacksaw blades I have left cutting them out

Have three knives to finish for the show on Sunday. Brian Colby and his dad coming over on Saturday for a visit and show and tell sessions. Sunday the show and get ready to start the new job on Monday. :D

Not alot going on for me. I've got to go into town and renew my drivers license and order some new business cards today. We're going to do some crow hunting tomorrow morning before the season ends. I've got a couple of blades that need grinding, probably do that Sunday. Have a good w/e guys

as usual....knives to work on ;) I need to bury my power line running to my shop soon! Grass cutting right around the corner

got ice to get off the roof and a belt to put on the truck.
9 sheaths to finish up and send .
orders to work up. and get ready for the show in Mass..
and wonder if the snow is coming or not? to screw crap up as usual..
this last storm I saw 9 accidents
I wonder when people will learn how to drive
THEY scare the HE!l out of me..

Work on the KITH knife and other orders. Maybe get some fishing in with my dad, but don't think the whites are going to start running yet.

Have a good one everyone and be safe!

This weekend, I'll be experimenting with different blade for a steak knife set I'm making for us. I'm also preparing a demonstration of heat treating for a get together with some friends a week from now. We all have our particular crafting hobbies, and we're showing them off over St. Patty's at a friend's farm.

Aside from that, who knows? I'll probably be on the forums a lot, reading some of the great info that is always posted here and occassionally throwing in my two bits.

I gotta go to a wedding tomorrow, so I have to go buy some decent duds today. Wife says bluejeans are a no no. Heck! Then, it's back here to order some more supplies and heat up the shop and get some work done in there. My sheath maker is due here today to pick up one finished hunter so I can get it mailed out when he returns. I got some more orders this week, 2 hunters, a fillet (yuk!!) and a paring knife set. I hate fillet knives. I think I will raise the price of future fillet knives so I can show a profit of 2 cents per hour for my work. You rascals have a fine weekend, and keep yourselves in one piece and safe.

Brian is a good guy, George. You will like him. I met him at Peter Atwoods a couple years back, and we hit it off real good.

This is my first "Friday" post in a while. I just got home from work. We got us two storms heading our way - gonna slam us from both ends (IG shut yer hole, boy).

I'm going to cuddle up to my work bench all weekend and maybe get a knife finished.

Btw... you peckerwoods talking about lawn sprinklers and grass cutting are pissin me off! :D

Your right about that Higgy. Sprinklers and grass cutting. :barf: I hate to cut grass, takes time away from knifemaking and groundhog hunting. :D :p

Higgy: Brian has been here already. He was drinking Buds and Jose with me. :D
PS: We are going to call you Mr. Slam for short. You always get it coming and going. HEHEHE!!!! :D

I finished up that belt for my friend this morning. Unfortunatly he was coming over this morning also, and it was the last time I would see him until April, because I'm leaving town. I had to go ahead and give it to him, since it was already late. Therefor, there are no pictures :( Drat. Turned out real nice too. I'll get him to take some and E-mail them and when I'm back in town I'll post it.

I'm leaving for big sandy sunday (northeast texas) for a 2 week landscaping course. I'm hoping I'll learn enough to up my business here a few notches. I hope to semi-finish my current knife tomorrow, so I can take it to the course, but we'll see how that goes. (Thanks Mr. Goode for the tips!)
That's about it.

Where is Don Nap? I haven't seen him post in a while?? Did I miss something? I wanted to know how that air gun is coming

My computer crashed and I been figuring how to use my daughters. It's a MAC.
Aint so bad.
Finishing up the wrap around hawk we started at Marks a while back.
Working on the KITH knife. Blade is done and just forged the guard. Heat treat tomorrow and set the handle. O yea the butt plate too, a first for me.
Guess thats enough for now.
Scott, I'll see you at the knife club meeting monday. Norm Peppersac wants me to do a wrap for him. I'll try to get it done at the meeting.

I hung out with my "Runt" yesterday and this morning, then I started playing with my prototype automatic. Continuing my durablity testing, I probably have 500 or so openings on it. For some reason I can't get enough of that action. Tomorrow, well, take it easy, play with the auto, and think about dual action folders, plus try to watch the NASCAR race, Oh yeah, take a nap or two. :D
