Nice carvings, no?*

Whooo do you think sent me this knife??

It was posted in "Elusive Schrades" a while back causing my jaw to drop!! Some time later, an offer I couldn't refuse came to me, for which I am ever grateful!:)

It certainly is a fine example of a "Good Traditional Barlow",
where I believe it also made an appearance!

That's a beaut, Charlie! I have its twin, although mine is not in that good of condition.

I'm glad another barlow found its way home. :)

It don't get any more "minty" than that! Beautiful!
Now I wonder whooo would the owl represent?? Hummm?

I've led you astray, Dave, in my enthusiasm for those nice carvings! Sorry!!
Guess again!!:D

Looks awful nice, Dan!!

I wish it were a GA!! Heh!
Thanks, Jack!! And thanks to one owner back in time!!;)

Nice carving for sure and a beauty of a knife!!!

I know whooo - for sure, however, will not ruin the suspense.:thumbup:;):)

Owls? Gotta be ********!!

That Schrade is in fantastic condition. A real looker! Knives with original grind marks and lines are so interesting to me. They tell so much about the making of the knife and the skill of the Cutler. I'd much rather take a vintage knife with pitting, patina, and scratches that has the original finishing marks on it, than a knife that has been "cleaned to mint" and is shiny and bright.

You have the best of both worlds with that knife! I know it's in good hands.

Amazing minty example. Tough to find nice ones of that vintage, even more so in that condition!

It ain't me but I know who as well, he inquired the other day if the package arrived???

That is an amazing example of a fine knife. Whooo better to have that than you?

Okay, we gots owls, we gots a barlow with an 'S' on it, and it ain't mine.

Two out of three ain't bad.

I'm thinkin the forum name begins with "K" and the real first name begins with "B"???

That is a great knife Charlie!

I know I've seen it somewhere here before, but I can't remember where.... wait, what were we talking about?

Really a fantastic Barlow there, hard to come by in that condition for sure. I know exactly whooo but I wont say either, i'll let Charlie spill the beans.
