Who's attending Blade?

I attended Blade West last year, but this will be my first time attending the big show! Who else will be there?
 
Yep - I'll be there Saturday. Don't buy ALL the Umfaans (if there are any)!!:D
 
Anne sent me a couple VIP passes for the show. I'm really looking forward. Hope to meet some of you there!

uh, that's all the CRK aficionados going to Blade? Guess I'll have to take my wife just to have some company....(my wife just told me that was NOT funny):mad:
 
It's always great to run into one of you guys at the booth. Have fun, and remember that beers will only make you want to buy more. I found out the hard way. ;)

I've seen mentioned on other threads about a drawing for a knife at the show. Anyone know how to register for the drawing - or is it one of those 'register here for knife drawing' tables soon as ya walk in??:confused: TIA

I just left show 'bout an hour ago...could not find an Umfaan anywhere. I was checkin' the tables pretty good. But so far only 'ran' by maybe half of them... BIG show!
Let me say though that I did stop by THE table/booth and said hi to Dave - VERY glad to met ya!! I was looking at a knife that just KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF! Wow! I promised myself that only an Umfaan would be on my must-have list, but I may have to return to look at that Sebenza again. Kinda reminded me of Dolphins...:D
 
I was there yesterday.... was the "dolphin" sebenza the one with the large arcing blue anodized "oval type dealies" on it? That one was handled by a number of folks when I was there and figured it would never make it past Friday.

Good score if you can snag it.
 
yep! that's it (Dolphin is my translation). I already regret not buying it. I just returned from 2nd trip there today...just to look at that Sebbie!
 
Nukemkb and Blackend -- great to meet you in person! Iron City -- if you return tomorrow, introduce yourself. Would love to put the label with the face!

There are two that I was lusting over --both uniques (we're talkin' knives here, just to be clear . . .). Was the dolphin design the one that was left and right matching on the stands? A lady just about bought the RH one, but it's still there. I liked that one, and also the one with colored waves, with alternating colored and non-colored speckles all over it. That one got a lot of attention too, but it's was still there at closing. If either one survives the show, I'll be a lucky man . . .
 
Glad I said hi when we came by first time. You were MIA on my second trip. The one you describe second above, colored waves with colored speckles is probably it. I saw dolphins in the air with beads of water breaking below them when I looked at it. hmmm. does that represent some kind of 'bonding' with the knife??:D :thumbup:
(having a heck of a bad time with net connection at this hotel :(


wait a minute! lucky man? are you planning on taking those puppies home with you???
