Who's been carrying the 610 for a while?

I've only had it a month. I like the lock, blade shape, the size..the handle shape is good but seems a little long.

What do you vetern carries of the 610 think? Comfortable to carry or not? Sometimes I think it depends on what you're wearing. I've done the search option, but looking for more current. Plus I think a few more people have this knife and carry it.

Its funny cause after carrying it for a month, my chinook II feels tiny. Anyone own both chinook II and 610?

I carried the 610 for a week in a passaround, and found it comforatable enough to EDC, but you will notice it some. I only wear jeans however, so if you are wearing thinner or loose pants they will be falling down on the carry side. In the pocket it isn't bad for a knife of that magnitude, as it was much less intrusive when you reach in your pocket than the Manix I carried for a week. I guess the only concern would be if your pocket isn't deep that it would stick out, but I never had that problem. In the hand I like the feel of the Manix better, but it does seem small after using the 610, which looks like it's a foot long when open. Both the 610 and Manix cuts like monsters, so I guess it comes down to personal preference and price when comparing the two. I know I would be happy with either one, and wouldn't hesitate EDC them anytime I was wearing jeans.

I've had mine for a few months. Try to carry it once a week (to remind me that my 806 IS small ). Generally, I look at it as a "outdoor activity" knife.

I carry IWB, so no droopy pants issues.

It is a great knife that would probably see more sales and carry in a 7/8 scale version. Blade shape, handle shape, lock, materials - all good stuff.

Only issue I had was with wet, slippery hands - sorta wish the scales were a bit more rough finished for grip.
