Who's doing quality regrinds now............

Tom Krein isn't doing regrinds anymore, Nick Rossi isn't responding to visitor messages about regrinds,doesn't list an email addy.

I talked to Richard j last week...he's back in the hospital again and can't do any regrinds until next spring at the earliest.

Does anyone know of or had work by someone who does a very good job on regrinds ?

There must be somebody out there.................

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. But I'm in the same situation.

I actually didn't realize Tom Krein wasn't offering the service anymore, until I read your post.

I'd certainly like to know if you've come across anyone.

I searched and contacted every possible regrind-er that I could find and got zero replies.

Let us know if you find anyone. I imagine if you found a skilled, hobby knifemaker they should be able to regrind.

It might be worthwhile to talk to some for the knife makers here. Obviously if they make their own knives they have the tools, and I am sure one of two of them are between orders right now. Just remember to use tact.
