I handled one of the Harsey folders at Blade and would have bought one but the only ones I saw were the two at the Lone Wolf booth and they weren't for sale. The knife is massive, just under an inch longer than my Strider GB, but more ergonomically inclined in the paw. (a little Lone Wolf lingo there

) The Walker lock feature, while not one of my favorites, is placed further forward than on my CRKT Crawford/Kaspers and seems almost impossible to accidently unlock. Its positioned directly between the thumb stud and the closest point of the RH scale, kind of buried and you have to kind of deliberately work to pull it back to its "off" position.
The titanium clip is almost as thick as one of my GB's liners, it seems!
I did buy when I returned home and found that Straight River Knife had them for $229.00 + $5.00 s/h. Only problem is when it arrived I found it suffered from the same lockbar malady as described elsewhere both here and on "that other forum" (see VG, I'm learning

). I wrote the factory and contacted George Harrison at Straight River and George is having another knife sent later this week and even agreed to credit my CC for the return shipping charges! When I told George I worked 3rd shift and didn't know if I'd get the defective knife in the mail today his response was perfect, "Don't worry, there's no hurry! I'm not worried about getting that one back as much as getting a new one to you!!!" Can you believe it?????
Overall I'm excited to receive the replacement and really get to know the beast better. I hope they have the lock problem under control and don't suffer too much of a setback from it.
More later!
