I did it alone last year (in the rain) and that stunk. Looking for someone to calm me down (or man the Barrett) through the CT/NY stretch. LOL

I wish I was going.... I live in Lakeville. I had my schedule change so my days off change and I cant get to Easton. Trying to get my girlfriend to go for me as she lives in PA.

Striker - DANGIT! I live in Taunton.

Butch - in and out on Saturday. IIRC, it's 4 hours each way. Pretty funny to drive for 8 hours for a 2 hour visit. It's like Thanksgiving. LOL
 
Dennis, I hate to say it, but I'm on the vineyard for the week for deer hunting, big prob with the Easton show for me.....

1. It's during shotgun deer season!

2. No loot! The 20 sfno collection has finally caught up with me! Im dead broke! I may have to sell a couple to make the loot for presents this year!

I was hoping i could make easton my first show but looks like it is not in the cards my friend :(

Enjoy. Hope you bag something. I have friends on the Vine'yahhhd. Seems the deer KNOW when the hunters show up and take a boat to the mainland for a week or two. They hang out at Bobby Byrne's in Mashpee. Check the last booth.

We are gearing up for the first hunt now! Having breakfast and telling tall hunting tales! I was served breakfast first because I shot the biggest deer last year! Really pissed off the old timers as I was a first year newbie with the group and it was my first deer! Well after a 10 point buck as your first the only place to go is down lol

J ps wished I could go....sorry my friend ;)
 
I shot a 130 lbs doe this morning! My group of 14 guys shot 6 deer total. The biggest was a 160 lb 8 point buck.

Mine was the second biggest deer of the day.
 
I'll hopefully be Leaving the Bronx to go to Easton Then leave To set up at the BIG-E show in Springfield Mass for Saturday AM
 
I'm never impressed with the Big E show. Seems to be table after table of Winchester collectors wanting 1.5x what their rusty guns are worth. Then you get the Aryans and booksellers. There used to be (haven't been in 4-5 years) a guy with some full-auto. Good for drooling.

I once had an ATF agent almost choke on my question. (Some guy was selling an entire collection of old H&R handguns. Something like 500 of them for $25 each if you bot the whole lot. I wanted to know if the ATF would get all hinky if I bot them and sold off 90% over several years off of my C&R license. ROTFL! He never really ANSWERED the question, but it was basically a NO.)
 
Well, I was curious about what was cooking at the Big E (I'm close!) until I read "the Aryans".

I've though about going down Fri... coming home on Sat, but may go for the one day wonder trip. :D

You can actually check 2 deer a day, that you have tags for. Anterless deer tags never sell out on the vineyard so I still got some hunting to do.

J ps I never knew there were aryans at the big e?? I always had a good positive family time there.
 
Not many. But the one or two tables always shock me. It isn't guys selling knock-off Nazi stuff. Outright blatent KKK type stuff.

They could be gone. That was 3-4 years ago.
 
And Foo - I'm clearing the day, so last-minute will still find me drivin. :)

Gotta bring your own ammo, tho. LOL
