You're going, right? Post up in here and if we have any extra VIP passes left we'll do our best to get you one. We have a couple of folks on the list already.

If you're into knives, and I'm guessing you are - then you have a personal responsibility to get to Blade show. If not this year then next year, and every year after for the rest of your life.....
 
My wife Melissa and I will be there. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

Unfortunately not this year as I'll be getting married in late June, but I've already been planting the idea of attending next year to my bride to be. Hoping to drop by the shop then as well to say hi.
 
After a 2 year hiatus, I'll be there. If there is a pass available, I'm game.

Edit: Ok, so the last few times I've been to Blade, the wife and daughter came along for the trip. No biggie, right? I get to wander around the show for two full days looking at some awesome blades, etc. while the wife goes around town shopping in new and exciting places that interest her. Win-Win, yes.
Okay, so here is the plea. I need some creative ideas for "breaking free" after hours to hang out with you guys if there is a get together. Not really trying to be sneaky, just thought it would be funny to hear some of the excuses you guys would come up with.

My first thought was that I could say I lopped off a finger during the show, juggling a machete and I'd be spending the evening at the E.R. Extreme, yes. Effective, yes. Practical, heck no!

Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

I'll be there Thursday to help Brother Carl get his table set. He's within spit ball distance of the
Fiddleback crew, so we'll get to visit with everybody.

Well, I was wondering if you would mind if I fly across the country to go hang out with a bunch other addicts in a room full of some of the most best makers and knives in the world? Well, yes. I imagine if I am going I probably would like to buy some. Well, what exactly do you mean when you ask do I need anymore? :o

Hmm, likely not. Haven't looked at the calendar, but I would say Father's Day ;)

Edit: Too late. Show is long over by then. Ask during a dreaded foot-rub :(
 
I'll be there Fri early and Sat as much as I can. It is my 5 year anniversary Blade weekend and it was all I could do to convince wifey it wasn't a good idea to go out of town that weekend.
 
I won't be attending this year but maybe West Coasters in a similar situation would want to have a get together during Blade. BBQ, Beer, & Blades day?
 
My dream is to go to Blade one day. There is a chance, it could work out this year. I really want to go!
