Who's going to the Blade show ? I will be there Friday and Saturday and will be picking up a knife from Rick Menefee. Anybody picking up a order at the show? Larry

Yeah I think I will try to make it. What are the ''criteria'' to get in - any age limit? How much does it cost to get in? What's the best day to go, the first day?

There is no age limit. If you are into multiblades Friday is the day since Tony, Reese, Richard and Joel at least hold drawings starting around 2 or so in the afternoon.
Not sure what the cost is, but you may be able to wrangle a VIP ticket from your favorite maker or dealer that will get you in at a reduced cost and a little early on Friday.

I figure I will show up for at least an hour or two (More like all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday :D.

If there any Thursday arrivals that want to eat dinner with a gaggle of collectors and makers let me know. It has become an annual thing for a decent size group of us.

This year I am planning something a little different than Ol' Mill Steak House.

Not sure about "age limit," but I'll go out on a limb and say they'll probably have issues if you roll into the show in a stroller without Mom and Pop's. :D

That is why you always see me pushing Gig around in his stroller. :p

I'll be there Saturday; picking up a custom from Brian Goode, and visiting with Eddie White and other makers. Hope to meet some BF characters. Bill.

I'll be there. Behind table 25G so you guys stop by to say hi :)

See you soon Bill:thumbup:

How does one get in the drawings? I plan to be there Friday early, and I want to make sure to get in on those.

This will be my first Blade Show, can't wait!

Flymon...you walk up to the makers table and do what they tell ya to do! :D

At the Bose table, they have blank business cards for you to put your name on. Those cards get stacked up next to the knives that are available. The cards get put into a box and they are drawn individually for each knife. If your name gets drawn, you get to purchase the knife. It's EXCITING!

Sadly, I will not be going this year. Business is all but gone. But you guys take lots of pictures and if you want a Bose Knife, take that horseshoe out of Gus's backside. He has one hidden and doesn't miss many. ;)

I wasn't going to go but now I'm going to be there until Saturday afternoon. I may be getting a knife from Ryu Kawamura at the show.
