Who's going to the A.G. Russell Knife Event?

I'd love to go but just won't be able to afford it. I must say that part of Arkansas is really pretty country.

This, plus school =/ Thats a real shame, my two favorite makers (benchmade and spyderco) will be there and Id love to see all the cool custom makers.

AG's showroom will undoubtedly be swamped all weekend - if he decides to be open. I wouldn't blame him a bit to lock the doors and post a sign "See you at my show!"

It's not far, I could use a Saturday off, gas prices or not.
 
I'm probably going to go. My brother lives about 5 minutes away from the Conference center.

Last year's show was a blast. I ended up spending more than I should have, but enjoyed seeing the great stuff that was there. I saw an Ed Fowler piece that brought tears to my eyes, and some other beautiful pieces that made me wish I could sell a kidney.

If it's anything like last year, you need to find a way to go.

I'll probably head down from Kansas City on Friday evening, and come back Saturday night. I might be able to swing a carpool from KC, if anyone's interested. I'd have room for 3 others.

Of course, I have to check with my wife first.:o:p

I'll be there. I went last year just to look around... got inspired to make some knives again. I hope to have five knives done... all ultralight fighters with titanium handle furniture, blades from 6 inches to 11 1/2 inches long.
