alright, who is gonna get a blue g-10 tyrade?

i splurged and preordered both the blue and tan.

Yeah I'll be getting a Blue to match my Orange. Mets style baby. Let's go Mets!! Here's the list of what's to be coming out. Comes from a very very reliable source.

Any chance of you translating those models into laymen's terms?

I'm guessing...

1850BLKSW = Black Stonewash Blade
1850ORSW = Orange Stonewash Blade
1850TANSW = Tan Stonewash Blade
1850BLSW = Blue Stonewash Blade
1850ORBB = Orange Bead Blasted Blade
1850BLKBB = Black Bead Blasted Blade

Is that right?

Well damn. I prefer the stonewash over the bead blast...should have waited with my oranges.

Oh well. Still getting a blue.

A very reliable source announced the blue ones, now they're out of old tyrade blades so you can order knowing there will be no more variations.
 
My stonewash, black handle Tyrade G10 arrived today and I'm very pleased with it. The liner lock engagement is perfect. Now that I see the blue and tan handle versions are going to be available with stonewashed blades and not just bead-blasted, I'm probably going to order them next.
 
I just placed my preorder for the blue one. Are you saying these will not use the same blade as the first ones have? Will it be the same thickness and will it be a composite blade?
 
i think they are all made from the left over qc blades. after these, say bye bye. they're just either bb or sw.
 
Is this Blue actually a blue/black G-10? Not sure how a solid blue handle will look. I'll have to consider it, though, as I have the original Tyrade, and am hesitant to take it out for a good work-out.

I'd love to see how the stonewash looks with the composite blade.
