I like the crawford knives and designs. the crkt kasper and crawford designed one while made cheaply is a great design and deserves a better production version...so when I saw this crawford 1 come out I was kinda excited, but the price point kept me away for a bit. I finally grabbed one and I dig on it. i like the front flipper sort of ability and standard flipper design. a bit bulky in size because of that, but I just like it.

my only complaint is the over tight clip. I had to put 3 pennies under it for 1 days and then 5 pennies under it for another full day to get it useable...meaning can put and take out of pocket with one hand easily....and still have good retention.

I haven't seen much talk about it, is it not popular due to design or steel choice or whatever reasons?

so who's got one and likes theirs.....and who doesn't like it and why?

I have one. It’s nice enough, but doesn’t really blow my skirt up. Flipping action isn’t great and I am not fond of flippers in the first place. Picked it up on a whim and now it mostly sits in a drawer. Not a bad knife though.

^guess I'm the only one who digs this knife and is carrying it.

Maybe an upscaled version with a Tri-ad lock , G10 , and S35VN ? :cool::thumbsup:

The Tri-ad Bush Ranger is one of favorites , but the Lite version left me cold .

yeah maybe if it was a larger blade version say 3.75 or 4". im fine with this Taiwan made one though for lower bucks.

the bush ranger came across to me as too thick and wide and not long enough. just felt stubby and weird in the hand. I have the Chinese version and its a decent knife and cuts fine and all though.
