They were once advertised here for $20, but I passed on the deal. Having never held one, I wasn't sure of the quality.

Held one today and it was NICE. Heavy duty, nice blade shape, sharp. Of course, it was retail, and it wasn't $20.

thank you , EB. Alas, when I went home and the catalog was not in the box, I decided to call right away anyway and have them do the work. Small plain edge sold out. I got a full serrated, which I really don't like, but for 9.99 ....

How is it that they are sold out and I don't yet have the catalog in hand ?????

These sales can be a crapshoot. My catalog just showed up this morning. But when did they print it? The guys who haunt the website have probably been buying these bargains for a month now!
