I posted a question regarding Camillus production numbers and those of other other BSA knife manufacturers in Mr. Levine's knife collecting forum, then discovered the Camillus collector's forum.

Does anyone know who ended up with the 1947 and up production records for Camillus? I am trying to assemble the production numbers on their BSA knives made during the period 1947-2007.

Any suggestions?

I suspect most of those records went in the dumpster :(

Tom Williams (CAMCO) may have some info.
 
I know Tom has some of the S-cards, but I don't think he has all of them & I don't know how far back they go. I don't think the S-cards have the quantity made on them.

I think Tom does have some of the production records, but how many & for what years I don't know.

I haven't talked to him in several weeks, but I will try & remember to ask him next time we talk.
Hopefully Tom will see this post & let us know what he has.

The S-cards have some information on them, but not actual production figures (pieces shipped during a given year). For that information you would have to find the end-of-year production reports. Here is an example of a Camillus BSA S-Card (knife made for Imperial):

Most people (myself included) are amazed to learn how many knives, not just scout knives, were made for other makers by Camillus.
