Who's making the 5.11 knives?

They look like decent knives, but I doubt 5.11 is making their own stuff. Any have any idea who's making them for them or own one?

last i heard, blade-tech was making the knives and holsters.

Every knife on their web site is listed as imported. Some are listed as being made with "US made S30V" and "US made 154cm". It didn't say where they are made but a would guess Taiwan. Like Spyderco is doing more and more.

Blade-Tech is still involved with 5.11 They are made in Taiwan at what they say is a factory with a high level of quality control. I own several 5.11 karambits and have had only one issue with the locking mechanism on one and it was promptly replaced. I have been carrying one of the 5.11 Journeyman karambits for a year now.

I cannot say anything about the quality of other 5.11 folders.
