i still need to get a short bed and shorten the frame but i took it on its first test drive today and it passed with flying colors now i need to get the registration witch is 400 and insurance and i will be driving like a mad man again

i am not going to shorten it all the way i want to put a roll cage and 5" exhaust but it will look good and all be functional

i recycled the old body steel for 150 and will sell all the misc. parts and i might come out ahead so this was cheaper than buying a new truck

sorry this is a knife forum so here is a knife with a snake

You don't plan to roll it again do you?

Or are you just being safe?

Nice work by the way

Reserected from the temporary dead

the 12 valve turbo cummins diesel is one of the best motors ever made i have 270,000 miles on it now and it has 2x the power than when i got it and will get more

Nice job!!
That's a lot of work!!
Congrats on the new old truck.......or wait the old new truck?
Whatever you know what I mean!!!

Great job all in all. Looking around, it looks like a few of your neighbors could probably utilize some of your mechanical skills too. :D;):p

WoW talk about a project  It looks like you did a good job rolling it, and an even better job making it look like it never happened.

Nice knife too.

I bet you are going to miss the extra cab space from the original body with the extended cab.

Could you not find a extended cab body?

Tons of work, especially by your self. I junked my last truck just because the clutch went out, because I did not want to pay to have the clutch fixed (it had 160,000 k on it, little ranger), so that shows you how lazy I am. I actually did need more seats because the wife was pregnant with our second.......

Very impressive work  I wish I had the talent and technical expertise to tackle those kind of projects.
