I'm trying to find a way to save up some money for a SH and then I see this vision of loveliness. While I haven't looked too many places for info yet, this seemed like a great place to ask. Who has this Bolo, are they still available, cost, and most of all, performance! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Truck,
Welcome to the forum.
I have a Bolo, it was my first Busse.
I use it quit often, used it today.
It is my main user, a modified BM with a slight recurve.
I don't think they are being made any longer, but you will see one for sale on rare occasions.
I'm not sure what the current price is on them, I think Papathud just sold one.
You might give him a try.
Good Luck with you search.

Yo, Truck!
Welcome to the Busse-Land Forum!
i have a Busse Bolo Variant: it's my favorite USER knife...
I chop & dig & pry & cut everything i can with her: she's fantastic, truly a Marvel: she has a Symmetrically Zero Edge Geometry (meaning rolled edge, or slighty convexity for sheer strength & toughness) & outperforms anything else i have.
i don't know where you could find one, currently; however, you might contact the Busse Shop: it's possible that they could sell you one as a special or Variant model if your heart is set on that one, as is mine, still... AAaahhh...... Contentment is mine...

First off, Welcome to the Busse forum. Hope you stick around and join in our discussions.

For the Bolo try www.bladeart.com , they did have one a while ago. Also email Marc(Contender) the custom shop director, I'm sure he can help you out.

Good luck
Eric

Welcome truck:)

The Aftershock and the other bolo variants are some of the sweetest choppers that Busse has made! They have a feel all of their own IMHO:D
Check the Blade Art sight Eric suggested, otherwise get in touch with Marc Fratello (aka "contender") about having a Battle Mistress ground into a recurve:cool:

Thank you all very much for the info! I have a feeling that it's going to be more difficult to find the money for one of those than the knife itself. Oh well, just have to find a little more work I guess. Thanks again.
