So far, not to bad on the believability scale. I hope Bo Duke brought his B.O.B.

Yeah, that was a little lame. Now nukes. Being from the east coast I can't imagine what an earthquake would be like.

Man, that thing was the worst soap opera I've ever seen! Terrible writing, abyssmal directing, god-awful acting, and horrible producing. Nothing more than a boring, embarrasing soap opera with earthquakes.

On the REAL earthquake site, www.neic.cr.usgs.gov/ the REAL seismologists said it had so many errors it was just goofy.

I couldn't agree more. My wife and I ended up watching it because we became fascinated with just how bad it could really get! Haven't seen one like that in many, many years.

Some of the special effects were okay, but other than that, zzzzzzzzzzzz.

FWIW. L.W.

Yeah, seen much better. Liked Fred a lot better in Tremors.

Been through a few quakes in my time including being on the SF Bay bridge in 1956 when the Alaskan quake had it rockin and swayin. Experienced the quake we all got to watch on TV during the World Series. The inlaws had just passed through Oakland when the upper part of the freeway came tumbling down behind them, trapping and killing all of those people. Being EMS, they of course stopped and helped the emergency efforts. They can be a scary ride, no doubt about it.

As far as a quake that big being a farce, who knows. Ma Nature has a few tricks up her sleeves that we can't even imagine.

It was painful. I had to turn it off after the fault line was chasing the train down the tracks; ate the train; then stopped.

Typical "formula" movie, if anyone in Hollywood (or where ever) has had an orginal thought in the last 20 years they sure haven't put it in a movie. Just my $0.02 worth. :D

I thought it was better then most of the star treks I've seen as of late...

It did open up some ideas... what do you do "if" something like that happened?
