i was thinking about getting a ka-bar mule but i havent heard 2 much reviews on it so i was just curious

Most of the reviews I have read indicate that the knife is extremely tough. Arguably the toughest knife in that price level.

I've had my mule for a little over a year now, but, I must admit, I haven't used it extensively. AUS-8a is a good steel - very tough with moderate edge retention. The vanadium content in the blade makes it take a great edge.
The weight of the knife and the grip feels great in my hand. I like lockbacks, so that's a plus. It just looks great too.
IMO, it's one of the best moderately priced knives. I bought mine at a gun and knife show for $40 - you should be able to find it for around that much (plus shipping).
