A week ago, I wasn't really looking at them or interested in them but now I am finding myself drawn to them. What is going on?? What got you into CRK? I haven't even seen or held one in person yet and I want one. WHY???

Here are some reasons why I like 'em. Utter simplicity of design. Purity of form and function, mechanical perfection. Intuitive to use and carry. Last a lifetime or two. They can be made like new again by sending 'em back to CRK for spa treatment. They hold or appreciate in value...

I think you hit the nail on the head. All the talk of fit/finish and tolerances intrigues me. I even watched the whole nutnfancy video...and still want one:)

You have to get one to truly understand why you want one. If there is a dealer in your area I suggest you go and hold one if there si no way for you to do this than like me you will just have to jump in and order online, you won't be disappointed as long as you remember its just a knife and not some magical item.

I made the mistake of putting one in my hand. Honestly, until I was able to play with one, I didn't see the appeal (well, I liked them, just not the price). Once you open a Sebenza and realize you have a fixed blade that is ground so perfectly, you'll see. Also, as an aside, owning a Sebenza gave me the confidence to start taking my folders apart and doing my own maintenance, regardless of warranty.

Unfortunately, I don't have any dealers in my area (twin cities, Minnesota). I would have to go blind. I think I trust the opinions of BF so I guess it isn't too big of a leap.

The problem isn't wanting your first one. The problem is immediately wanting your second, third, and fourth one.
Isn't Chris Reeve originally from South Africa? Maybe he puts some kind of juju spell on them to make you want one.

I owned emersons, benchmades, spydercos, ZTs, and Bradley folders. All notable brands in their own right--but they were all sold, when I started carrying a small sebenza. Now I own two small sebenzas, with a friction folder on the way (needed an NYC-legal carry option). Zero regrets; small Insingo w/micarta--take the plunge!

This actually does not seem that unbelievable considering the pull that CRK seems to have when it comes to addictive knife obsessions.

I also sold bunch of mine knives and I cant really see any other ones come even close to a sebenza. You do have to hold and handle one to have a full appreciation of CR knives. There are cheaper, more expensive knives but only one sebenza.:)

They really don't make you want to carry anything else. I just got an 0560 and 0561 and as nice as they are they might find themselves up for sale in the future.

It's been so long now I can't honestly remember why I bought my first Sebenza. I had never held or examined one but after studying all I could find on them, including reading comments on this forum, one of the Unique Graphic Sebenzas especially appealed to me and so I bought my first by selling a couple of very nice customs.

Now, 12 Sebenzas later and no more knives to sell to get more, I love every one of them. I carry and use a Large and a Small Sebenza every day and couldn't think of using any other knife.
They are indeed Something Special and all the reasons mentioned by those above certainly apply.

This indeed times 10.

I never had an interest in them until a friend at the time got one, then another, then answered some questions and sent me some pics. I did some research here and before I knew it I had one. Boy, what a beaut. I knew it was love, then the cycle began and everytime I get a new one its the same feeling over again.

Just got my first a week ago. It hasn't left my pocket since. I have several great knives.. now they all just sit in the drawers. Except the Chaparral it's my perfect second carry(until I get a small insingo). I find myself now wanting more simple titanium frame lock knives. Not to compare to the Sebenza(because they just can't compare) but to just have that beautiful simplicity that I love so much. I've always loved smooth titanium - and now I do even more. I know the next knife to go is going to be my ZT 0560, and it was my every day companion for many months. However I do have a few knives that will never leave and the Sebenza is #1 on that list.

It's just perfect. I can't find one flaw(you can on almost any knife). That and it's so simple and gorgeous and is a joy to use. I don't think I'd love it so much if it was a safe queen.
