I have a few Schrade Photo Samples and would like to know why they are marked differently and what it means?

LB7 marked PS03 on bolster
LB7 marked PS0001
LB7 marked S0001
LB7 marked 000

Thanks any thoughts info appreciated.
Tim

IRV is correct. PS was photo sample, SS was salesman's sample I was both a salesman and the product manager at Schrade in the 80's and early 90's.

My personal favorite are the 0000's but 0001 was also highly coveted.

Irv, did you know Mirando? Great Quote!

Hope you will hang out with us here mccclus. As a former Schrade employee, you will probably get the opportunity to field a lot of questions. Do you have any knives left from your days in Ellenville? Everyone loves pictures.

Nice of you to visit, mcclujs! You'll find a nice bunch here, in the land of Schrade Monsters!!

Welcome mcclujs! Great to have you here!

G'Day McClujs, Welcome to our beloved Schrade Forum where committed Schradaholics line the Bar mate.
Would love to hear some reminiscences or Schrade anecdotes when you feel like sharing..you have a captive and willing audience here!. Hoo Roo from Oz.

mcclujs,

Never had the pleasure of meeting the man. The quote I have seen from him in 3 different articles all a little different. This one is from the Blackie Collins interview.
Please do post as often as possible.
Thanks for dropping in.
Larry
