Why Aren't Verizon.net Email Addresses Allowed?

Since the time I originally registered, I have changed to a DSL account from Verizon. Apparently, you do not allow verizon.net email addresses to register. I would be interested in knowing why you would ban email addresses through my telephone and Internet provider !!

Because verizon.net for some stupid reason filters out all emails from any vb powered forum site and the user never, ever, ever sees them. Resulting in a lot of "why aren't my emails / subscriptions / pictures of cute puppies not arriving" emails sent to me, which wastes my time.

Find a different email provider.

scm2741, I just switched to Verizon DSL myself but I've been using gmail for email which avoids locking me into an ISP I may change away from some day.

Esav, is Gmail pretty good about blocking spam? I have a hotmail account, but it is next to worthless for blocking Spam, I routinely get 8 pages worth of Viagra offers, donkey midget porn offers, etc etc. I assume Gmail is better?

Gmail is great once you mark something as spam all future mailings from that addr is automatically sent to the Spam folder. PM me your email and I will send you an invitation to Gmail.
