I received a sort of random visitor message (i at first thought it was a spammer)
It turns out a member here on Bladeforms who has been checking out the EDC forums for years saw a pic of me in my NYPD uniform in reply to Edwood and put 2+2 together and realized we have met in real life.. He was visiting from France and went to see the empire state building and took the subways . I was working a detail and we ran into each other..We spoke for a few min and he asked to take a pic of me since he hasnt seen a cop with full tattoos.. This was back in 2006 mind you..5 years later he finds me here and sends me the pic!!! I am now retired but if was great seeing myself in uniform again (although i was 50lb heavier back then.. bagel and doughnut diet)
just wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to theHound i dont have many pics of me in uniform and none with my tattoos hanging out
