I'm very interetsed in getting a Large Sebenza. I dont have a problem with paying too much money for a damn good product. Which brings me to my question:

Why should I buy a Sebenza?

Thanks!

Because you want to.

Gary that's good!

bmcneil,

On the page that lists all the topics on the Chris Reeve Knives Forum look under Post New Topic in the upper right hand corner, click the drop down menu and select Show All Topics. Click Go and sit back and enjoy 12 pages of topics about all of CRK's knives. There's plenty about the 'benz.

The first time I handled a Sebenza, I was not impressed. Later, I bought a used one and lived with it for awhile. I've bought two more, sold the first one and trying to get another.

If you buy one used, you'll always be able to get close to whatever you paid for it, if for some reason it doesn't do anything for you. Heck, for that matter you won't lose much if you buy it new!

And I quote Nike..."JUST DO IT!"

You can't and won't go wrong with a CRK Large Sebenza. They the stongest, most durable folding knives out there. The blade steel (BG-42), is one of the best overall stainless steels being used today in the knife community. Don't beleive me! Check the new Sept. issue of Blade magazine. One article is on the best production/custom knives on the market and the other is comparing the most common used steels, and which is best.

You just can not go wrong, the quality and precision is just amazing. Whether you purchase a large or a small they are built like tanks. I personally have a small plain born 4/19/00. I do not have a small hand and it fills it. It is also large enough where is does not raise eyebrows at work. Which ever you decide on you will be pleased.

Because it's the best folder made and you get incredible customer service. Seriously consider the small one, fits well in the pocket, won't raise eyebrows, is airport legal and will do anything the large will do except maybe dress out a bear. But be warned, these knives are highly addictive and once you own one, you will want more and more and more! Your wallet will curse the day you get a Seb. Decorated, computer generated graphic, wood inlay and a small cutomer friendly company that is fanatical about quality. You would be hard pressed to find a better knife, custom or production. I have a large NICA tanto, a small plain and three on order, a small CGG trailing moon, a small wood inlay and a small NICA tanto. And to top it off, Chris includes an allen wrench so that you can take the knife apart, clean, lube and put it back together. The knife is simple, lockup is rock solid and the quality is remarkable. Welcome to the club!

I'll only add that if the price is an issue, keep and eye out on the forsale forum. They show up from time to time.

I've been very happy with my recent used sebenza purchase.

I just bought my first a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy. I thinks it's the best production folder on the market.

I hear these voices in my head telling me "Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza, Buy a Sebenza" I can't make it stop! There can only be one cure!!!

Buy one then. Or two or maybe three. Plain wood inlay or decorated. All great knives from a great company dedicated to making us Sebenzaholics happy!

Because it absolutely, positively has to be the best folding knife made! Period. End of story!

Because knives are useful tools that accomplish or facilitate many tasks.

Because there are few products (of any type) IN ANY PRICE RANGE that will provide you with the design, quality, workmanship, durability, reliability and customer service of CRK products and company.

Now that we got that out of the way, what everyone else said ... like they said!
