Why can't I find out about this knife?

a few years back, I was at the knife store and my wife was with me so I bought her a SOG blink with a pink and purple anodized finish. It sat in her purse and then a drawer for years. I remembered about it today so I got it out and cleaned the gunk out of it. Anyway, It says first run and 826 on it, If I remember right it was out of a thousand. I can't find anything on the net about it, thought maybe you guy's could help.

You already described the knife in detail and know it is a limited run.. I'm not sure what else you want to know about it?
 
I guess that is true, more details I guess. I don't know exactly what made it special besides the coating. I don't think it was the first year they made a blink. Your right though, and I'm glad you said it, I think maybe I was surprised not to be able to find it on the net.
 
Over the years, SOG has made some special colors available in limited runs. They've also done some special blade shapes [Tanto Revolver, Tanto other stuff]. What years these came out, I have no clue. I do like seeing them though. :)
