Why can't I find this type of Griptilian?

My grandfather gave me this Mel Pardue mini grip that his wife carried until she died, I've been carrying it for some time now and really like it, so I want to get some other colors. Now I can find plenty with a thumb stud, and some with a thumb hole that's circular like on Spydercos, but none with this odd elliptical thumb hole. Does anyone know what this specific model is called or where I could try and find more? Thanks.

It's an old 555 (actually yours is a 555S since it has the serrations). I have several of them that I bought about 6yrs ago. The "oval hole" model has been discontinued for quite a while and replaced with the round hole "555HG" model.
 
You don't see them come up for sale very often. Check the big auction site, and the classifieds here on BF's
