Why can't I get a User name change?

I requested and paid for a User name change on 12/20/10. On 12/24/10 Kevin Schlossberg informed me that name was already taken, and to choose another. I responded with a second choice on two separate emails, but can not get a response. It seems like eighteen days ought to be enough time to sort it out. Any ideas?
 
Well I think you can just use advance search and type in a name to see if its taken. 8 days is a bit of time. I would send a follow up email but remember we are all human and forget/get busy.
 
How did you request this name change? There is a format for this. Did you do all this contacting Spark by email? You could be making it hard for him to put all the information together. Email can get lost in his 1SKS business mail.

I can't find an earlier Tech Support thread from you. Follow these instructions and see if it gets his attention. It sounds like you already took care of steps 1 and 2.

How to get your Username Changed

If you want your username changed, you need to do the following:

1. Click on this link:

2. Place your order for a username change ($10).

3. Post a thread here with the Change Username thread prefix, and title (Old username) to (new username). In that thread, put your order number, and what you'd like your username changed to. If you do not do so, your name will not be changed and we will assume that someone else is trying to hack your account.

3A. IF YOU ARE SMART, YOU WILL SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR THREAD SO YOU ARE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL WHEN I POST A RESPONSE SHOWING YOUR NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED.

4. Wait patiently. Name changes will typically happen within 48-72 hours.

I will start the new thread requesting the change. I responded directly to Kevin's email and expected that to take care of the "second choice" request.
Thanks for all the help guys. Not trying to give anyone a hard time....just trying to finish this up.
 
thanks Esav Benyamin, your posting here really helped me I THINK, im HOPING. Did it all and posted the whole works, crossing my fingers.
