Why can't I post on the "For sale fixed blades" forum

I am a gold member, but when I go to the "For sale fixed blades forum" the "Posting permission" area tells me "You may not post new threads."
It is my understanding that gold members can post on the "For sale fixed blades forum", so why am I not allowed to post there?

My guess is that you are trying to start a thread in the Knifemakers Market part of the Exchange. Only knifemakers can sell knives in those forums. If you scroll down a little further you will see the For Sale by Individuals section.

Knifemaker is a different level of paid membership.It you post in the tech support section I believe they can pro rate your gold membership into a knifemakers.

You'll need to pay for a "Knifemaker Membership" if you're making knives to sell.

KnifeMaker / Craftsman / Service Provider Membership
Cost:$60 a year or 3 years for $160

Allows KnifeMakers access to the KnifeMaker For Sale areas, 300 private messages, 5mb of image attachment & storage, a signature and a 120x120 avatar.

A "Gold" membership is for non-makers/non-dealers to sell in the exchange.
