Why did Benchmade discontinue the full size Pardue Ambush Knife 10200S?

Does anyone have the inside scoop why it was so quickly discontinued? Was it too expensive to produce? Were there flaws with the aluminum handles? Can anyone help me find out what went wrong with this beautiful knife?

If you miss it so much, you can pick up a Mini-Ambush. Probably not the same but still the same lock.

I had one and the lock failed a week after I bought it. They replaced and I traded it for a Gerber large AF folder.

I have the Mini-Ambush 10210SBm its a realllllly good looking knife, but it doesnt hold and edge well and the serrations wore down really fast, because its AUS8 (Steel fail)
but its cheap, its a fun EDC buy.
