Why did CRKT discontinued the Crawford Kasper PM?

I have a C/K PM, and I'm rather fond of it. It has an attractive skeletonized handle that looks fairly similar to that of the titanium FF offered direct from Pat Crawford, and the blade is AUS8. So then, why did CRKT discontinue this knife, though the regular version of the C/K (with AUS6) is still in the CRKT catalogue?
 
probably because it was higher $$ than the other kasper models and wasnt selling, most people who buy CRKT are looking for a deal (ie cheap) and if they are gonna spend $50 and up the get a spyderco/etc

but it prob wasnt selling well, ya can bet if it was selling like hotcakes they would still be making it.........
