Why did I wait so long to get a Gayle Bradley?

I got my Gayle Bradley in the mail today from a fellow forum member. I love it! I've been holding off on getting one for about a year now. I really shouldn't have. Perfect fit and finish, lock up is spot on and is darn good looking. And, man, does M4 get sharp! One of the first things I did was put a nice semi-polished edge on it and it got ridiculously sharp. I can sure see the GB taking over the reigns and my main carry knife over the Para 2.

Yea...It's def. on my radar. Problem is, Spyderco keeps putting out new stuff like the Yo2, lightweight manix, and all those neat sprint runs. My wallet has a hard time keeping up!!!

I feel your pain. There are so many knives I want, but not nearly enough money. I'm not buying anything else until I get my M390 Military. I'm glad I got the GB before I decided to hold off on buying new knives.

It's a great knife indeed, gets scary sharp, and very solidly built.

Then I saw the Gayle Bradley Air in the 2012 catalog, and pre-ordered one :)

Nice pix.
Thanks. When I get time to take some good day shots I need to get pics of all of my knives.

Plan on buying this one soon. Not really interested in any other releases, other than the Tuff.
I'd definitely recommend it for sure.

The Air does look intriguing for sure!

I have been carrying a GB for well of a year everyday.

The carbon fiber still looks like new. The blade has an awesome patina.

I am going to pick up a spare, because I just love carrying the GB!!

As soon as I had the GB in hand, I up and ordered another one as backup because I liked it so much.

In the spirit of peer pressure and brotherhood, I will carry my GB the remainder of the day.

Glad to hear! I can see carrying it for quite a while!

I may have to do the same thing.

Great picture. I'm definitely carrying my GB today!

Is there anything you can do to make the liner lock easier to release? My thumbs are in poor shape after playing around with my new GB.

I've seen some people cut the CF and non-locking liner a bit deeper to allow better access to the lock. I don't find it necessary though, so mine will stay as is.

Man all this talk of the GB makes me want one so bad! Oh me, I think you might get an early present this year..

I love the GB, but unlocking it got old, so this was my solution (old pic, not so shiny now :P )

It was very easy to do and took maybe 15 minutes with a dremel and file.
