Hey guys I'm sure theres been alot of talk about the 0300 in this thread but I just got my first from Dave aka (KershawGuy) and couldnt be happier. I though my sebenza locked up solid, but now I know the meaning of "tank" and "vault lock up". This knife litterally begs to be used, and I feel it can handle anything I can put in its way. Im know I'm a a little late for the 0300 fan talk but DAMN i love this blade. I now cant wait for more zt's! This is my new favorite knife company/Manufactor.

LETS SEE SOME PICS: I also was curious to see some of your guys ZT's that have been used. Specifically how well the coating has held up to use (from my limited experience it seems to be very durable).

Thanks for such a great knife zt and thanks to kershawguy for such a great deal:D

Please excuse the dust. I popped my 0300 out of my pocket to go snap these pictures for you. Most people who know me know I LOVE my 0300 and it's really my only consistent EDC no matter the occasion. I actually love it enough that I sold my Strider to get it (Not getting into that). I will state this clearly and honestly... I give all my gear hell. (ATV's, SAR, Demolition, Construction, Forestry, etc) I've lost it for 2-3 days before in the rain/humidity and it didn't have a spec of rust on it. If it stands up to what I can throw at it.. I trust it and take it with me where I roam. A short example of a few things would be my Leatherman Charge TTI, RAT-4, Carhartt Fire Proof pants, ZT300, my Steel Toe boots, and my keys. The rest is unlisted or subject to change. You can call me a fanboy, or you can back me up... the ZT coating is one of the best, if not THE best blade coating on the market for knives. I have 4 areas of scratches on my ZT. All in the same place just on opposite sides. I do not know when/how they got there, and quite frankly I don't care. I know if I do more than scratch it, ZT will be behind me to repair it like they always have been.

Anyway, end of rant. Here's pics. :D

Those 2 ^^^ were shot with light directly on the scratches. The following are how it normally looks.

Man, does he^^ sound like a serious fan boy or what?? :D

If so, then I must sound like one too. I love me some ZT/Kershaws!

I can honestly say that I haven't found one that I haven't liked. Of course, there are some I like better than others...

I still want that Blur for $15 bucks :D

The only folding knives in my radar these days are ZTs (and a cs 6" ti-lite) i need a zt300...

Only bad thing I can/will say about the coating is it shows smudges/fingerprints like crazy and is hard to clean and make the coating look even color wise. In the pics it looks like a mix of shades of coating on my blade.. it's not. Just dirty after a weeks carry.

Ono. You should see what I paid for the ZT... then you'll be really pissed. :D :D :D You'll probably forget all about the Blur. :p

Damn!!!! turk that really makes me want to go out and cut everthing :D im suprised at how welll that coating holds up. i also got a steal on the 0300 and thats honestly why i bit the bullet and bought it. I honestly can see this knife in my edc carry for a very very long time. ZT is my new favorite company. love there warranty too. Just a genuine company imho. Thanks for the pics. oh and have you had to sharpen it?

I went for almost a year without sharpening because my Edge Pro stones were too wide and would murder the recurve. She was not sharp enough to pop hairs easily but could still be used as a knife. Then I got paperwheels...

How do the paper wheels work with the recurve? I have on 0350 that I have been thinking of giving the wheel treatment to.

Well, Turk, not only being a local guy, but an all around outstanding person, is going to fix me up with one of those great deal 0300's :D

Right turk?

Purrrfect...;)

They work awesome, I have the Razor Edge one's by Grizzly.... it straight up works. Unless you are not comfortable with power tools. I actually polished my backspacer screws to a mirror polish with the buffing wheel. (As seen in the pics). I am debating on weather to polish the lock bar stop on it as well and have the black ZERO TOLERANCE under the polished upper area. I have a polished clip and pivot bolt/nut here somewhere. It REALLY speeds up deployment if the internals are polished.

Maybe.... what do you consider a good deal on a 0300?

This is what happens when I get bored with my knives.... (Excuse the phone quality pic please)

Send me an e-mail, If I can find another .45 shell I'll make you one. They are not super pretty, but they work. Only issue I found is the screw for the plate sticks up from the primer not being drilled out. I'm sure I could mill this one down a little if I can find the time.

Ok, phone pics "For teh suck"... here are the real one's.

My pimpage.

Backspacer screws so shiny the camera has trouble picking it up. (Mirror)

thanks man but i think im actually gonna polish my lock stop i already have on it. i think the face of the stop with a mirror finish and the black letters underneith shining through would look good. Im more of a silver guy myself but i think what you did with that 45 casing looks great! If you modify this knife anymore post the pics, im loving the progress pics.

I recently puchased my first ZT (0350). Now I understand what all the fuss is about.. This is one solid blade that arrived insanely sharp. In fact, after I ran the blade down my leg to check the sharpness, I had to get the vacuum sweeper to clean all the hair from the carpet :D

very cool man now go out and use it, they truley are and the remain rock solid. I just used my new 0300 to hack a sapling down (maybe 3" diameter) and not only did the knife perform great there is literally no marks on the coating. Its very durable, and the s30v is still shaving sharp. im loving it.

ZT's are some of the best buys out there considering their price they offer near semi-custom quality for the price of a higher end production folder I feel that my ZT200 is about as bombproof as a folder can get, IMO ZT is putting a major hurt on their competition.
