Why different Strider ARs/GBs have different liner thickness?

I have 4ARs and 1GB. I found that they have different liner thickness. Some have liner thickness of 2.0mm, while others have thickness of 2.5mm. Why? the 2.0mm liners are stonewashed, the 2.5 mm liners are not.

maybe not that simple I asked some people for help, we collected 15 different gen. AR and GB. we have found that:
(1) the new gen. AR and GB has different liner thickness, for example, all the black ARs with BOS stamp have 2.0mm thickness, all the green ARs with BOS stamp have 2.5 mm thickness. 2 AR and 1 GB without BOS stamp have 2.0mm thickness.
(2) the older gen. AR and GB have the same thickness.
(3) the thickness of G10 on the new gen. are different!
we don't know why.
