Why do I always justify buying ANOTHER spyderco?

Well, I started carrying my PM2 again after some time with a zt 566, and then I started rationalizing that I needed another PM2 for a backup. So after much searching I found one in the digi camo that I was wanting. So I then justified the purchase by telling myself I can use it for kitchen duty and keeping it as the (safe queen). Why cant I stop buying these spyderco's? Its just FFG, slicing, excellence. No other knives I have slice the way these spydercos do. If Mr.Glesser ever makes a 3 inch bladed PM2, I am in big trouble.

Anyway, enough of the rant,

thanks for listening.

ETA: Was going to go with a Benchmade 550HG , just for a different manufacturer with a thumb hole but couldnt stomach paying 100$ for a BM when for a few $$ more I could get a much better knife with the original opening hole.

Hey, it was your post I saw last week that got me to thinking, so you are spreading the virus with those pictures you post of your PM2 "collection" through the interwebz.

I got the black with satin and now the digi with satin coming.

Thanks a lot Clanton :encouragement:

I remember asking him that in a previous thread and I think it was the M390.

Now that I have all of my blade swaps done my new favorite is black blade with orange scales(thanks John!). The M390 is still my most used blade but they are all great!

Here you go I still need a Elmax,CTS-20CP and Carbonfiber to have all the sprints and exclusives with a swapped in black blade.

You need to teach us all how to be better at justifying more purchases!

Our motto is that you can't have enough Spydercos. I just need more pockets to carry them in.

ROFL, if I had the money I would hold a seminar. I just need deeper pockets.

Having recently just purchased my PM2, I have yet to actually cut anything substantial with it. I do not want to use it for food prep because I don't have (yet) a wood cutting board in my kitchen. So, cutting food on the ceramic plate or the stone counter top is out.

I really do like my PM2, but I found that the blade sticks too often and is difficult to open one handed. I do love that compression lock, but it takes some getting used to. I'm so used to frame or liner locks and found that I have to change my grip, which requires me to think about what I'm doing, to disengage the blade. This was never the case with the frame or liner locks.
