Why do I keep coming back to my Viele?

I have what I consider to be a nice knife collection with a wide range of knives, including Microtech autos, Sebenzas, Benchmades, etc. However, I continuously keep coming back to my Spyderco Viele. A modestly priced knife that simply looks nice and works well. No bells and whistles here, just a consistent, trusty knife that I use for almost anything that comes my way (boxes, steaks, rope, tape, etc).

Anyone else experience this phenomenon?

Yes, it's one of my favorites too, feels good in my hand and looks beautiful. A thing of beauty is a joy forever!
 
I fully agree. I've got the newer VG-10 with the eccentric lock and I rotate mine weekly between my Sebenza and LCC.
I've got plenty of Spyderco's but the Viele is one of the best.
