I know it says that our membership must be manually entered. However, this is an international forum:thumbdn:...

This international forum is a business owned and operated by Spark. To offset the expense of running it, he instituted paid memberships, fees for certain functions, and ads for non-paid members. Just as memberships are assessed at the level and cost the user chooses, so too are fees assessed where applicable, not spread over the entire community of paid memberships.

By not charging a fee for manual entry, he would be charging everyone a smaller, hidden fee to cover international costs. That would be like having just one level of paid membership for Gold, Platinum, Knifemaker, Dealer, etc. and raising the price for most to offset the higher levels for some.

This is what they do for almost all products I buy in the supermarket, Car lot etc... I don't see why Bf should be any different but that's just me.

I don't mind the extra fiver but one day I'd sure like to know what the automated system is like. No reason other than curiosity, it all sounds very exotic. :D

Just move to another town or another country, and see prices differ in different locations.
